Conference Wine Route: Prahova – Ialoveni
Conference Wine Route with the participation of viticulturists from Moldova and Romania was held on September 29, at Ialoveni District Council.
During the event, partners from Prahova presented the experience and milestones implementation of the project “Wine Road” in Romania. The main topics of the conference were how to access the European funds to modernize vintages sector in Moldova and funding programs for the period 2014-2020, including pre-accession assistance.
The conference aimed at establishing a partnership between Prahova County and Ialoveni district, to launch the project “Wine Road Ialoveni”.
The event was attended by Mircea Cosma , president of Prahova County Council, Valeriu Matei, director of the Romanian Cultural Institute Chisinau, Tudor Jijie, executive director of the Association “Euroregion Siret-Prut-Nistru” Lilian Popescu, president of Ialoveni, Aurelian Gogulescu, president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Prahova, mayor of Magurele, Vasilică Diaconu, county councilors Rareş Enescu and Cătălin Niţă and also, district councilors, mayors, winemakers from Ialoveni district.
At this first activity was presented the vintages tradition in Ialoveni district and Milestii Mici winery, then it was discussed the concept “Wine Road” in Prahova. The event was concluded with a visit of the delegation from Romania in the underground cellars from Milestii Mici.
