Economic Forum, 6-8 September Krynica Zdroj, Poland
On 6-8 September took place in Krynica Zdroj, Poland, the XXVI edition of the Economic Forum, Davos also called the East. Economic Forum brought together 4,000 participants, prime ministers, ministers, commissioners, opinion leaders, representatives of civil society and local government in the European Union and its Eastern neighborhood.
Siret-Prut-Dniester was institutional partner of this event. Siret-Prut-Dniester was represented by Mr. Ion Leucă, Vice President Strategy and Regional Development and President of Glodeni.
Mr. Dumitru Tudor Jijie, executive director of the Siret-Prut-Dniester, was invited to the panel “Interregional and Cross-Border Cooperation on the Eastern Borders of the European Union – How to Increase ITS Significance?”, Moderated by Serhii Tatusiak, President of NGO “Ukraine-Germany-Poland also works”.
On this occasion they have deepened existing partnerships and new themes have been identified for collaboration, however enrolling in the general objective of Siret-Prut-Dniester to develop and modernize local government in Moldova in the European spirit.
